How to read the chart
- Start at Row 1 in the bottom-right corner and work upward.
- For flat knitting, read odd rows right to left and even rows left to right.
- Each square is one stitch; outside numbers identify row and stitch positions.
- Numbers inside the squares count consecutive stitches of one color, restarting at each color change.
The dots occupy small square blocks in the colorwork chart. Check their column positions separately from the star centers to preserve the offset arrangement.
