How to read this star knitting chart
Each square represents one stitch in the color shown. Follow the flat-knitting directions printed beneath the grid:
- Start with Row 1 at the bottom right and work upward through the chart.
- Read odd-numbered rows from right to left and even-numbered rows from left to right, following the arrows.
- Use the numbers outside the grid to locate a row or stitch position.
- The numbers inside the squares count consecutive stitches of the same color. They restart at 1 whenever the color changes.
